Anytime the forks are removed or the triple clamp pinch bolts are loosened to straighten the front end after a crash its very important to not overtighten the lower triple clamp pinch bolts as they will cause the forks bind when moving through the travel.
This will cause accelerated wear to the guide bushes and give your forks a harsh feeling.
Always follow manufacturers recommendations for torque specs and regularly check the bolts as part of your routine maintenance.
